Just wanted to say what a wonderful day out the Bank Holiday Monday Woolsack Races were this year. Yes a little damp but the organisers can't do much about that. Great family fun and lovely to see big crowds out supporting the runners and the local charities.
Tetbury with the high street given over to a market for the day was fab. Already looking forward to next year. Might even get a bit of training in on the famous hill and give it a go myself.

Hi, People seems to waste a lot on energy knocking a place without wanting to get involved and recreate that community spirit of old. As a soon to be Tetbury resident I can't wait to discover what is behind the real skin of the town. Not the tourist town but the community that is waiting to be revived. We live in an era of apathy, a facebook generation where community is deemed by faceless friends. My experience of Tetbury in my visit over the years which have become more regular recently is of a small town with many friendly people at its heart. I cant wait to join and hopefully add to that community spirit.

Hi
I am hoping to move to tetbury this year from London. I wanted to know what the primary schools are like in the area. I generally find that the OFSTED reports give a very generic view of a school which lacks the human element. Any help would be fantastic.
