Hello to any new people on the message board. A bit of publicity in the Tetbury Advertiser seems to have resulted in some new visitors, so welcome!
We're constantly making changes to the website, and updating it with new content. This week we've added some businesses to the directory, and photos contributed by Tetbury Online users to the 'History' page.
Events listings are back (hooray!) and there's some aesthetic changes to the front page of the site.
We hope you like them, and let us know if you have any suggestions for the site!
The Tetbury Online team

To The Webmaster Can you help me? I have been having problems becoming a member but after getting help from my son last week thought the problem was solved as I had an email saying I was now a member, and having my first letter printed last Saturday as a member thought everything was alright. I decided to write a letter today under the Seriously underused heading found that it was,nt printed because my name was already in use.I would just like to know why I am a member one day and now I,m not.Ihope this makes sense to you Monica.

Glad it's fixed. Unfortunately I don't really understand how the forum works either - it's all ready-made.

Monica,
When you become a member you will automatically receive a conformation email detailing your user name and password, before you post a message simply log in with your user name and password don't forget to log out when you've finished browsing the forum.
The message board is open to guests when/if they post they are required to enter a basic "security check" consisting of a jumble of mixed letters & numbers. If you see the "security check" box appear you will know you are not signed as a member. The "security check" for guests is necessary (even though ALL guest & member IP numbers are recorded) as it prevents access by automated pre scripted injection attacks sent by hacking "robots" - "robots" cannot read the unique security check code - so cannot post any pre scripted spy material.
Regards Paul.
Tip for everyone ; always make a password containing 7 or more jumbled letter's or number's never use a word contained in a dictionary "as is" if you fall victim to a "dictionary" attack then that's just the start of your trouble's, once a hacker has access to your hard drive they will then install a nice little "key logger & dialler" into your machine to record everything you do ------ who ever said financial transactions on line were safe !!!
