Hello,
My wife Cynthia and I will be in the Cotswolds region for a long weekend in September. We plan to spend the morning playing golf and then take in a spot of tea and scones by 11. Tetbury seems, by recommendation from friends, to be ideal. Can anyone recommend a) a good course and b) a good tea shoppe for us to enjoy in the town?
Much obliged,
Wing-Commander C. Jeffries

Yeah, Westonbirt School golf course is nearest (it's about £10 a round), but Minchinhampton (used for proper competitions) is nearby too.

The Two Toads on Church Street does a pretty decent cream tea, but there are also a few other places in the town that should do it - look in the "cafes" section of the directory on the tetbury online homepage.
