plumbers and electricians

Can anyone recommend a good Corgi plumber and a reliable electrician based locally please? I have a gas fire to fit (hence the corgi-man) and want to install wiring for an electric shower (hence the electrician!). Unfortunately, working my way through the Denton's directory I am receiving nothing but answerphones, on which I duly leave messages and receive no replies!!!

I have, in the end, booked appointments with Npower to fit the electrics and B&Q to fit the fire, both of whom are sending tradesmen from different parts of the country. It seems crazy that I can't put the business towards a local fellow. Can anyone recommend any of the above that will answer their phone, or at least return messages??

Hi,just wondering if you gave R & J pearce a try,they are up behind tesco,in northfield road,I have only bought items from them but they do seem to do a lot around Tetbury,and the do both plumbing and electrics. 01666 503808

Hi, You could give Cox and Hall a try too.
They are excellent, My son Sam works for them.
R+J are also very good I have to add, as they are friends of mine ;D

Thanks all for your suggestions, sadly I couldn't get anybody local to take a booking for the job. Perhaps it is too small with all the building work etc going on?? In any case I've had to get a plumber from B&Q and an electrician from Npower, unfortunate really as I'd have preferred to stay local. But I guess getting the jobs done comes first!!
