Hello everyone, I will be tomorrow in Tetbury but will not be bringing the car for once... which means I will be entirely reliant (for the weekend shopping) on the Coop, Quayles, the butcher, and any other shop on Long Street. Could someone tell me what are the shop opening hours this coming weekend? I will arrive tomorrow after 4PM, so mainly I am concerned about Saturday>

Hi Bee,
I fear you left it a little too late for me to do any real research on your behalf but you should be safe enough. The Coop always seems to be open not the cheapest store around but being slap bang in the middle it is convenient.
If you are a regular visitor to Tetbury you will know that unless you are a wood worm there is not a lot of food shops left to choose from.
I feel sure on Saturday everybody will be open and the fruit and veg stall will be in the market.
There is Tescos, of course, on London Road, and depending how fit you feel and where you are staying it is within walking distance. Take a Sherpa with you to help carry it all back, Tescos assumes everybody has a car !!!
Enjoy your visit.

Hi Merlin, thanks for your reply. I did come on the spur of the moment and by train, so had no time to check it out. However, you are right -the Coop is open -all through the holiday... and the butcher was open today too, adequate for some emergency supplies in this case.
