Or have they just given up and thrown in the towel ?
It could be a good site, Tetbury does need one but you can't just sit around waiting for the world to come here we gotta get out there and tell them.
So if the have given up or are no longer interested is there a vacancy ?

The webmaster set up this site some 10 years ago when he was a local student and was a very good source of both local information and history and was widely used by locals, visitors and ex residents. As time passes so people move on and he no longer lives locally. As several people still use the site we try to keep it up to date but only have time for minimal input.

Hi Tetburymum,
Thank you for your response and I guess the next question is what can we do to breathe new life to the site ?
I have a few ideas but I do not have the IT skill to run a Web Site, at least not to the level I envisage.
I don't mind doing the leg work to help get it going again, I don't even mind learning the skill required if there is someone who will teach me .
Perhaps a cup of coffee and chat somewhere ?

This seems like a genuine offer to me but 6 days without a response is just far too long and smacks of being a little rude if you ask me !
It's as if they just want this site to die and if that is the case then they should have the gumption to say so and give someone else a chance to take over....
It's a fair looking site but it needs a makeover and someone who is interested in it to run it and respond when someone asks a question.

To be honest, the answer is the same for this and all forums like it, it has to be used by us to make it work. We need to tell each other it's here, nobody else can.
Forgetting how it's modded, what are people's hopes for the site? Do you want it to be a shop window for tourists say, or a way of networking with each other? Or.....?
Sorry, I'm new here and thought it was a good site, just quiet at present.
