The Dolphins Hall was built 50 years ago this year. Does anyone remember its opening, have stories, memories or (better still) photographs?

(At the risk of repeating myself) The Dolphins Hall is 50 years old this year, and to celebrate there will be a 50s themed event in the hall next Saturday (14th Nov).
The Hall will be open from 2pm for reminiscences over tea, coffee & cake and then later from 7pm there will be a quiz followed by retro nibbles and dancing to Trolley's Disco to the sounds of the 50s.
The event is free (apart from drinks from the newly refurbished bar!), and it would be great to see you there.
