Sharp/e family research

Hi, Can anyone help me please. My Gt Grandfather was born in Tetbury in 1873, William Benjamin Sharp/e. Married Sarah Brown of Tetbury. His father was - (William) Benjamin Sharpe born 1849 in Fairford, and His father was also - yep you guessed it William Benjamin Sharp/e born Tetbury 1813 or 21 depending on how well his maths was on the day of each census.

Can anyone help me with the best way to find further ancestors. It seems the whole worlds population of Sharps started in Tetbury & I'm getting really confused.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

My Grandmother was a Sharp/e from Tetbury -her father was a William James Sharp/e, born abt 1857 so I, too, am chasing any Sharp/e family members that may still be living in Tetbury.

My Grandmother, Amy Elizabeth Sharp/e, came out to Australia with her Aussie soldier in 1918.

I've just started researching her family so if I find anything, I'll let you know.
