I'm looking to your combined knowledge of the town to, in all fairness, save me some work..
I'm about to start contacting shops, pubs, restaurants, hotels, b&bs etc. regarding the Christmas Market, and more importantly advertising and promoting it.
Does anyone have a list of the above off the top of their heads - it will give me a starting place to being contacting the town. I could of course walk round door to door - but figured this might give me a bit of a kick start.
Answers on a postcard - and grately apreciated. I shall shout you all a coffee and a cake next time we're in town! (May 11th) :-)
Bribery on the other hand.... Is the cake home made...?
To be honest Tetbury is not that big and I think perhaps a well written flier may get the job done quickest as far as the shops are concerned. I’d miss out the Antique shops can’t see them being much use to you, that’ll save you a hike up Long Street for a start.
How about if it had a questionnaire on the reverse side to be handed back to you in the market hall on your next visit ? As for B&B I found these two sites that seem to give a fairly comprehensive list.
in all fairness - cake isn't my forte however I'm sure someone can rustle up some cakey goodness :-)
just another quick question - does anyone have any images of Tetbury at Christmas last year? I need to start putting together the brochure for this year, and it's always easier to have images donated. I will of course credit the photographer in the brochure, but I didn't take any pics last year...
