Hi everyone,
I'm still struggling to find the birth of my grandmother - Jessie Frances Etherington/Garrett.
I have found her on the 1911 census showing her age as 22 which gives a dob of 1889 - previous records gave a dob of 1891.
Her mother was Esther (Hester) Garrett born 1860 in Tetbury, parents were Thomas Garrett and Elizabeth Workman.
Esther married Frederick Henry Etherington in 1893 in Windsor, Berkshire which suggests Jessie was born before they were married and may be listed under Garrett rather than Etherington - or a completely different name!
If anyone had access to the parish records for Tetbury and has time to look this up for me it would be much appreciated as I am well and truly stuck here!
